Alex Foerstel
Partner & Chief Operating Officer
Alex Foerstel has built his career on solving difficult problems, developing winning strategies, and finding a way forward when the answer is not obvious.
As Partner and Chief Operating Officer of The Injury Counsel, Alex brings a strategic and analytical approach to complex civil litigation. He believes successful outcomes demand more than knowing the law. They require mastering the facts, anticipating obstacles, recognizing leverage others overlook, and finding creative solutions when the conventional approach is not enough.
Alex brings that same discipline to his relationships with clients. Known for his thoughtful, attentive, and intentional approach, he understands that people facing difficult legal circumstances need more than a strategy. They need answers, clear communication, and confidence that someone is paying attention to every detail.
Alex’s instinct for strategy developed long before his legal career. He worked on Judiciary Committee matters in the Missouri House of Representatives before serving in the United States Senate in Washington, D.C. He later managed a statewide campaign for Missouri State Auditor, directing strategy and operations across Missouri. His work attracted statewide media attention, including a profile by The Missouri Times recognizing him as a “strategic visionary.”
Alex graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri in just five semesters, earning dual degrees in Political Science and Constitutional Democracy, minors in Spanish and Leadership and Public Service, and Honors and Multicultural certificates. He earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he concentrated in International Law, received an Academic Excellence Award, and served as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Analysis, Research, and Communication.
Today, Alex helps lead The Injury Counsel’s operations, litigation strategy, and investigative resources, bringing together the people, preparation, and attention necessary to take on complicated cases. Whether the challenge is buried in the facts, hidden in the law, or standing directly in the way of a client’s case, Alex approaches it the same way: learn everything, find the opening, and get to work.
