Text Message Terms
Effective date: October 24, 2026. These terms cover text messages (SMS and MMS) sent by The Injury Counsel (“we”) from (314) 727-7220.
What we send
Messages about your inquiry or your case: a reply to a text you send us, a call-back confirmation, appointment reminders, requests for documents or signatures, and case updates. If you separately opt in to news and updates, we may occasionally send firm news. We do not send messages on behalf of anyone else.
How you opt in
You consent by texting us first, by checking the consent box on our contact form, or by telling a member of our team that you would like to receive texts. Consent is not a condition of hiring us or of any service. You can always reach us by phone instead.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your matter. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation text and nothing further. Reply HELP for assistance, call (314) 727-7220, or write to us at 7733 Forsyth Blvd, Suite 1100, St. Louis, MO 63105. Opting out of texts does not affect your representation; we will reach you another way.
Your number
We do not sell or share your mobile number or your consent with third parties for their marketing. Messages may be delivered through a messaging service provider acting on our behalf. See our privacy policy for how information is kept.
Confidentiality
Text messages are not a secure channel. Please do not send confidential details about your matter by text until we have spoken and agreed to represent you. Texting us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
